• Passport (original and copy) must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the return date of the trip to the Schengen Area and has to be issued within the last 10 years on the day of leaving the Schengen Area. Photocopies of all previous Schengen.
• UK residence permit (original and copy) must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the return date of the trip to the Schengen Area.
• Two recent passport size photographs (not older than 1 month) taken against a white background.
• Visa application form, dully completed in all sections, dated and signed. Application form is in the download pack.
• If Employed; Employment letter must be original signed on the company headed letter, not older than 1 month, addressed to the Mission, name and position of the signee, stating applicants qualification, salary and start date of employment in the UK.
• If Student; Student letter must be original signed, not older than 1 month, addressed to the Mission, stating the start and the end date of studies and the course title.
• If Self Employed; Accountant letter must be original signed, not older than 1 month, addressed to the Mission confirming applicant self -employment. The last year proof of taxes and a copy of trade license must be also provided.
• Domestic workers; Original signed letter from employer, not older than 1 month, addressed to the Mission, stating applicants qualification, salary and start date of employment in the UK. Employment contract and employer’s passport copies.
• Original UK current account bank statement for the last 3 months, showing applicant’s name, address and salary. The balance needs to show a minimum amount of £80.00 a day of stay in the Schengen Area, with a minimum of £724.00
• Fully paid return flight tickets.
• Confirmed hotel reservation mentioning applicant name, travel dates and accommodation address
• Travel insurance must be issued in UK, stating the name of the applicant. It must cover all risks expected during the time of stay inside the Schengen area and the minimum coverage for medical emergency and repatriation of 30,000 Euro.

• You should apply for a Spanish Schengen tourist visa in UK only;

  3. Spain is the first Schengen country you are visiting (when spending an equal amount of days in Spain and another Schengen country)
• Anyone who is planning to stay in Spain for more than 90 days should apply for a long stay visa.
• All documents submitted must be in English or Spanish. When stated or requested the documents should be translated only into Spanish by a certified professional translator.
• All applicants must provide a separate set of documents even if applying as a family.
• The mission reserves the right to request additional information and/or documents which are not on the documents required list.
• The duration, number of entries and issuance of visa are at the sole discretion of the Spanish Consulate in London.
