Sudan Business Visa
If you are planning to visit Sudan for business activities, then you will need to apply for a business visa before entering Sudan. UK citizens visiting Sudan for corporate purposes must obtain a business visa before entering the country. Sudan Business Visa is mandatory for those looking to take part in activities like attending company events, investigating business opportunities, and undergoing unpaid training. Documents Required
- Passport (original and copy) must be valid for at least six months beyond post entry date and have 2 blank pages opposite each other. UK residence permit, if applicable.
- Fully completed application form (the form is found in the download pack).
- Two recent colour photographs taken against a light grey background or please email us photo (selfies accepted too) and we will adjust, crop and print it.
- An original letter from the applicant's UK employer. This letter must:
- Be addressed to the Embassy
- Include the name of the applicant
- Specify the purpose of journey
- Include the name of the organisation to be visited
- Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
- Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
- State name and address of applicant's host
- Be on company letterhead paper
- A letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting. A copy is acceptable. This letter must:
- Be on company letterhead paper
- Include the name of the applicant
- State the purpose of journey
- Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required
- Bear the signature of the inviting party
- Bear the company stamp/seal
- Be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Be transmitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and confirmed received by the Embassy prior to submission

- All South Sudanese, holders of British passport and UK travel documents, require a visa and must fulfil all visa requirements if they wish to travel to South Sudan.
- An exit permit is required for most foreign residents including British nationals. Before your arrival check the details with your sponsor to ensure that you understood and are happy with the process.
